The Wellington
Marbles were created by local artists Marcus Kucey-Jones and Ryan
Lotecki.
They were commissioned by the City of Ottawa’s Public Art Program for
Wellington Street West.
The Wellington Street West reconstruction project includes 1% of the
cost that is devoted to art.
There is a vegetable
market across the street from this artichoke.

Quarried in Carrara,
Italy, the marble used for these sculptures was selected for its fine
quality.
These boots appeared
across the street from the fire station.

Art is created in
this building so a tube of artist's oil is depicted here.

This fire hydrant
turned into a pea pod.

A music store has
this piano fire hydrant on their sidewalk. Notice the pedals at
the bottom of the piece.
