Westboro is
fast becoming the in place to live in Ottawa. The free festival,
Westfest, draws people from everywhere.
The
performers could also be seen on 3 large video screens.
This fabulous Ottawa 3 day festival was free of charge.
Will
Currie
and
the
Country
French from Waterloo Ontario entertained early
Saturday evening.
Richmond
Road
in
Westboro
was
closed off and after dark the street was packed.
When a rock concert is free, people turn out by the thousands.
Beau's
was
the
local
supplier
of beer.
They also offered Piat d'Or wine which ensured that most people would
order beer.
All
that
beer
kept
the
Comfort Stations busy.
CBC
Ottawa
had
a
large
presence at WESTFEST.
Lucy van Oldenbarneveld, Amanda Putz, Michael Bhardwaj & Alan Neal
acted as hosts.
Hot
dogs
and
CDs
were
selling well at WESTFEST.
The
famous
Halifax
Nova
Scotia
band Sloan was a big hit Saturday evening.
