In the Annapolis
Valley of Nova
Scotia the elm trees have been wiped out by dutch elm disease,
After they were cut down, the Valley was left with hundreds of huge
stumps.
As usual, artists came to the rescue and created beauty from the
disaster.
In Windsor Nova Scotia Howard Dill started growing huge pumpkins.
This sculpture is a tribute to the man who started the World large
pumpkin growing craze
. . .

Hantsport Nova Scotia is the
home of Minas Basin Pulp & Power Co. Ltd.
No doubt this axe man was one of the people who cut the pulp wood to
feed the mill.

This sailor keeps waiting for his ship in Hantsport Nova Scotia.
