Nine years after
the 1906
earthquake,
San Francisco staged the 1915 Panama-Pacific
International
Exposition,
celebrating
the
opening
of the Panama Canal in August, 1914.
This
lovely building still
remains
as a souvenir of that early world's
fair,
The
building was meant to
last for
1 year but extensive renovations have been
done in 1960 that have kept the beauty of this San Francisco landmark
intact.
