The Parliament
buildings are decorated with lights for the holiday season.
On the left people are gathered around the eternal flame.
This is the view of the buildings taken from the
east.
The flag flies above the Peace Tower just seen above the gothic
buildings on the east side.
Each flag only flies for 1 day. It is taken down and given to citizens
from any part of Canada who send in a request.
From the same buildings the famous Chateau Laurier hotel can be seen.
