Restaurant Les Remparts . . .  This restaurant is located downstairs in Auberge du Vieux Port. Both the hotel and restaurant deserve the highest praise. When the name of either is mentioned I get a warm feeling. Often, the thing we remember on a vacation is an outstanding restaurant. If you patronize either the hotel or the restaurant, your experience will linger as a warm and cosy memory.  This restaurant has existed in Old Montreal for years. Les filles du roi (the daughters of the king) was what the women were called who were sent from France to help increase the population of New France  . . .  In the summer this outdoor restaurant is packed with people who have come to soak up the flavour of Old Montreal.
