The Mug & Anchor Pub
Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia ...
The Mug & Anchor Pub has enlivened the Mahone Bay Nova Scotia
waterfront for years.
Its sign is hanging on a schooner's bowsprit as befits a pub in this
salty town.
Hundreds of beer mats from all over the world decorate the ceiling.
Every year, at the end of July,
Mahone Bay puts on its Character Boat Festival.
It is one of Nova Scotia's best, drawing enthusiasts from all over who
wish to see
unusual boats. During the festival you can't move for the crowds
in this room.
All the sailboats are out of the water for the winter.
During the
summer a forest of masts fills the harbour. Click here to see Chester Pubs
