Much More Fun
What marvellous additions to are small towns are the local pubs. It is the celebration centre for the populace and  a wonderful place for travellers to visit.

Mahone Bay
The Mug & Anchor Pub has enlivened the Mahone Bay Nova Scotia waterfront for years.
Its sign is hanging on a schooner's bowsprit as befits a pub in this salty town.

Hundreds of beer mats from all over the world decorate the ceiling.
Mahone Bay
Every year, at the end of July, Mahone Bay puts on its Character Boat Festival.
It is one of Nova Scotia's best, drawing enthusiasts from all over who wish to see
unusual boats. During the festival you can't move for the crowds in this room.

All the sailboats are out of the water for the winter.
