Bluenose, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

Bluenose II
"Old Town" Lunenburg was recognized by the Government of Canada in 1992 as a National Historic Site and in 1995 by
UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) as a World Heritage Site.
Lunenburg is one of only two (2) World Heritage Sites that are urban areas in continental North America, the other being Quebec City.   .

Bluenose
This is Nova Scotia's only moveable tourist attraction sign. Whenever Bluenose II is in port,
the small sign on the bottom opens to attract more visitors to the town. It is a real boon to the B&B business..
Bluenose II
The Bluenose is always the main attraction in any group of boats.
The mainsail on the Bluenose is the largest working sail in the world.
Lunenburgs many fine inns and B&Bs cater to the many visitors who come to see Bluenose.
