In March 2001 I was wandering through the beautiful Italian
town of Diano Castillo in Liguria when I saw an extraordinary sight.
Here is a man who likes house numbers!
I must confess that I have always had a fascination for the way people mark
their houses. Some use a supplied numeral from the town, others purchase
a more fancy number plate while a few craft the numbers themselves.
I resolved to start keeping a record of numbers on houses and
create a website that some people might find interesting and
useful if a new number were needed for their home.
This site has expanded to add hotel and B&B reviews,
restaurant reviews, beautiful places of the world,
book reviews and many other things keep
getting added as the mood hits me.
