 This Ontario government ferry allows traffic to travel along the water from Picton to Kingston.  This photo was taken from the Lake on the Mountain that is located near Picton.  The ferries allow motorists to save a lot of time by taking this ferry. The length of car deck is 38.7 metres & the maximum gross load is 18 tonnes.  The M.V. Glenora is pulling into the Glenora terminal.  The ferry hooks onto the shore that assures that it doesn't pull away while the traffic disembarks.  This is the Glenora Fisheries Station located at the ferry terminal.  This is where the vehicles wait for the ferry on the Glenora side.  The M.V. Glenora pulling into the Adolphustown Terminal.
