 The tiny village of Burnstown has an interesting shopping area.  The merchant who owns Somethin' Special gift shop has a strange sense of humour. Notice the large OPEN sign outside while there is a CLOSED sign behind the flag. Inspirations is a gallery run by a group of 8 local artists painting in oils & watercolours.  The Blackbird Café has a good reputation for their food. Call 613.432.3599 for resevations.  What kind of village doesn't have a chip truck?  This little village has 2 art galleries. Riverstones features watercolours, mixed media and alternative photography by Karen Phillips~Curran.  Neat Coffee Shop features specialty coffee, loose leaf tea, wood fired pizza, light meals, and fresh baking. They are open year round. The local summer market is held on Friday evening and Saturday morning. They even have live music from time to time. Call for reservations 613.433.3205.  Burnstown seems to have a good sign marker.
